Deleting your data
Every piece of data WM Keyboard holds, where the button that erases it is, and how long anything is kept.
WM Keyboard, by Wasi Master, has no account and no server. There is no request to send and nobody to send it to, because nothing about you is ever transmitted to this project in the first place. Everything the keyboard remembers is a file in its own private storage on your phone, and you can erase any of it, or all of it, from inside the app.
This page is the deletion route for the app published on Google Play as
WM Keyboard (com.wasimaster.wmkeyboard), and for the F-Droid and
GitHub builds of the same app.
Delete everything at once
Section titled “Delete everything at once”Uninstalling WM Keyboard removes every file it ever wrote: learned words, clipboard history, statistics, settings, themes, downloaded dictionaries and models, and the app’s own cache. Android deletes the app’s private storage with the app, and there is no copy anywhere else.
If you turned on Back up with Android under WM KeyboardPrivacy, a copy may exist in your own Google account’s Android backup. That backup belongs to you, not to this project. Delete it from Google One → Storage → Backups, or turn the switch off before uninstalling and no backup is made.
If you set up Backup & restore yourself, delete the files wherever you pointed it: your own storage, your own Dropbox, OneDrive, Google Drive or WebDAV server. This project has no access to any of them.
Delete one thing at a time
Section titled “Delete one thing at a time”You do not have to uninstall to erase something. Each of these is a button in the app, and each takes effect immediately and permanently.

What is kept, and for how long
Section titled “What is kept, and for how long”Nothing is kept anywhere but your device, and nothing has a retention period set by this project. Data stays until you delete it or uninstall.
Two things expire on their own, and both are held only in memory:
- A one-time code captured from a notification is offered for three minutes by default and then dropped. It is never written to storage.
- Tool results that are cached (exchange rates, weather, search results) are cached for minutes to hours and are not personal data.
Some things are never recorded at all: anything typed in a password field or a field an app marks as sensitive is excluded from learning, suggestions and clipboard capture automatically, and incognito mode applies the same exclusions to everything for as long as it is on.
Data held by anyone else
Section titled “Data held by anyone else”When you use one of the optional network tools, the text you put into that tool goes to the service you chose: Brave Search, GIPHY, KLIPY, Open-Meteo, Wikipedia, Unsplash, Pexels, or whichever AI provider you supplied a key for. That data is held by them under their own privacy policies and their own deletion routes, not this one. WM Keyboard keeps no record of it and cannot delete it on your behalf.
The full edition on Google Play is built on Google’s ML Kit for handwriting and scanning, which sends its own diagnostics to Google. That collection is Google’s, and Google offers no deletion path for it; the only way to avoid it is not to use those features, or to use the lite edition, which does not contain ML Kit.
